In a large slow cooker mix together the cream of celery soup french onion soup and sour cream. The french onion broth didn t stick to the noodles so it felt a bit like soup with meatballs and giant noodles. Pour over the meatballs and stir. Stew meat is super budget friendly but it can also be tough. Baked these in foil lined pan in oven about 30 minutes.
The meatballs will not be cooked all the way through. Heated through added meatballs and served over buttered egg noodles. French onion soup mix and italian dressing bring savory flavor to these easy beef meatballs that are simmered on the stovetop and go in a variety of dishes. Some of the egg noodles will not be fully immersed in the broth. Serve over egg noodles or as an appetizer with tooth picks.

Stir in the meatballs. It will seem like a lot of noodles at first and that is ok. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook on high heat for 3 4 hours. Add onions and cook until very soft and golden 25 minutes stirring often.

This is why we are going to simmer the beef in the broth and french onion soup for about 10 minutes before adding the noodles. Place meatballs in a slow cooker or crock pot from the freezer. Add the beef stock and water to the pan and gently stir scrapping any brown bits off the bottom. Gently stir in the egg noodles and continue to simmer covered for 5 minutes. The bottom of the pan will be brown but that is okay.
